Responsibilities:
- Document nurses' notes and care plans accurately, reflecting resident care and response.
- Complete and document medication administration passes promptly and precisely, adhering to established policies.
- Demonstrate tact when interacting with staff, residents, families, visitors, and the general public.
- Maintain knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to long-term care.
- Execute physicians' orders efficiently and accurately.
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring correct timing and dosage.
- Continuously assess residents for any changes in their condition.
- Exhibit leadership and supervisory skills, foster harmonious teamwork, and effectively oversee CNAs.
Documents required:
- Must be actively licensed in the state of California as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
- CPR or BLS Certification
- A physical test and a TB Test (taken within one year)
- Driver's License or State ID
- N95 fit test results
- COVID-19 vaccination proof
- Immunization Record
Requirements:
- 6 months experience working as a LVN
- Prior experience working with Mental Health persons served
- IV Certified for Phlebotomy
