Responsibilities:
- Working alongside registered nurses as nursing assistants
- Monitoring patients' conditions
- Maintaining an organized record of medical charts
- Administering medications
- Updating the attending physician regarding any health concerns
- Dressing clients
- Assisting elderly patients in their day-to-day nursing-related needs and providing emotional support
Documents required:
- Must be actively licensed in the state of Maryland as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant
- CPR or BLS Certification
- Physical Test and a TB Test (taken within one year)
- Driver's License or State ID
- 6 months experience working as a CNA
