Responsibilities:
- Prepare sterile operating rooms for surgeries, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
- Sterilize equipment, instruments, and supplies required for surgical procedures.
- Stock and maintain adequate surgical supplies in operating rooms.
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting incision sites.
- Provide support during surgery by assisting in passing instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
Qualifications:
- Accredited surgical technologist program diploma and certification.
- Instrumentation experience.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Proficient in surgical technology and procedures.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
