Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments to evaluate the patient's health status, adhering to established standards of care and disease-specific guidelines.
- Strategize, execute, and assess patient care plans to enhance outcomes and utilize resources efficiently.
- Administer direct nursing care and oversee nursing personnel within the RN's authorized scope of practice, following established policies.
- Offer age, culture, condition, and situation-appropriate education and emotional support, integrating patient and family education into all facets of nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree, BSN preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an acute care ICU setting
