Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop and implement short and long range unit goals and programs within departmental policies
- Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
- Participating in developing, planning and standardizing menus
- Attending interdisciplinary team meetings and communicating patients’ nutrition care plan, progress and special needs
- Evaluating potential food/drug interactions, and/or herb/supplement interactions
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience in Clinical Dietetics
- Baccalaureate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- A valid license issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association for practicing Dietetics in California.
- A physical test and TB test taken within the last year.
- A valid Driver's License or State ID.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
