Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
- Employ the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Coordinate patient care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist, ensuring seamless collaboration among the healthcare team.
- Direct and guide OR Technicians and other personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a continuum of care, ensuring a holistic approach to patient well-being.
- Work closely with co-workers to maintain efficient patient flow, uphold quality patient care, and ensure unit maintenance and organization.
- Act as a resource for other personnel, offering expertise and guidance as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Active state RN license.
- CPR or BLS Certification.
- ACLS and PALS Certification.
- Physical and TB Test (within one year).
- Driver's License or State ID.
- At least 1 year RN Surgery experience.
